The Town of Ridgeway Planning Board meets the 1st Wednesday of the month.

The Planning board serves a number of critical functions within the Town of Ridgeway related to the coordination, management and processing the various forms of development and land use proposals within the Town. This includes but is not limited to site plans for commercial, residential, non-residential,  light industrial, and office uses as well as Special Permits for uses such as restaurants, colleges, and churches which impacts the township.

Board members work closely with the other entities involved or concerned with the development approval process including: Town Board, applicants, as well as the Planning Board, the Zoning Board of Appeals, along with the various Town departments, governmental agencies and of course the general public. The board is also responsible to ensure the applicant has met all compliance with any legal requirements along with laws established by New York State.
