Coming into contact with thousands of Ridgeway residents and visitors annually, it has been our priority to make the Town Clerk’s office as efficient as possible. We are completely automated with computers and customized software thus reducing many day-to-day repetitive functions and allowing for greater productivity, shorter lines and quicker service and ensuring the best use of taxpayers’ money. As prescribed by New York State Town Law, the Town Clerk is responsible for a variety of tasks ranging from Registrar of Vital Statistics, to Recording Secretary, to Records Management Officer to Licensing Officer.
